How to Split the Screen on your Computer in Windows 10
Split one screen at a time using Keyboard shortcuts
You can make use of the split screen functionality by means of keyboard shortcuts.
Follow the steps here below –
- Choose the window you are planning to move.
- Hit the keys Windows Key + Left Arrow or Right Arrow depending upon where you want to move your screen to.
- The screen will move to the either of the corners, taking half of the screen.
Split one screen at a time using your mouse
- 1) Place your mouse on an empty area at the top of any open window, hold down the left mouse button, and drag the window to the left side of the screen, toward the center of that side.
- 2) Let go of the mouse. The windows should take up half the screen, although in some cases it snaps to the top left; it just takes practice.
- 3) Click any window that now appears on the right side of the screen. It will position itself to take up the other half.
